Home Made Natural Electrolytes Refresher

🧊 CRC Frozen Electrolyte Refresher (Makes 2 servings)

This icy, all-natural electrolyte drink hits different. It hydrates, cools you down, and tastes like vacation-in-a-blender (minus the hangover). Oh, and it’s made with real ingredients you probably already have at home!

When the sun’s blazing, your sweat rate’s off the charts, and your legs feel like toast by mile 3—you don’t need another lukewarm sip of water. You need this.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups cold coconut water (natural source of potassium + electrolytes)
  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime (adds sodium + flavor)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (natural glucose for energy)
  • A pinch of sea salt (for sodium balance)
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple or watermelon chunks (extra potassium + flavor)
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Optional Add-ons:

  • A few fresh mint leaves (refreshing & anti-inflammatory)
  • ½ tsp chia seeds (for slow-release hydration)
  • Splash of water if you want it less slushy

Instructions:

  1. Toss everything into a blender.
  2. Blend on high until slushy-smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust: more salt if you’re drenched in sweat, more honey if you like it sweeter.
  4. Pour into a glass (or insulated bottle if you’re on-the-go), add a straw, and enjoy immediately!
💡 Pro Tip:
Make a double batch and pour it into popsicle molds for DIY electrolyte ice pops post-run. Your future self will thank you.
