Delicious homemade granola
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Sunflower or neutral oil
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds or any nuts you like!
- 1 cup raisins or other dried, chopped fruit
Process:
- Whisk together oil, honey, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl
- Add in oats and nuts, continue to stir
- Place mixture on a cooking sheet with parchment paper
- Bake for 20 minutes at 300F stir midway through. (check to see if nuts are toasted)
- Remove and add dried fruit or even chocolate chips
- Put granola in air tight container like a mason jar
Enjoy with your favorite yogurt, milk or ice cream!
