Delicious homemade granola

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Sunflower or neutral oil
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds or any nuts you like!
  • 1 cup raisins or other dried, chopped fruit

Process: 

  • Whisk together oil, honey, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl
  • Add in oats and nuts, continue to stir
  • Place mixture on a cooking sheet with parchment paper
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 300F stir midway through.  (check to see if nuts are toasted) 
  • Remove and add dried fruit or even chocolate chips
  • Put granola in air tight container like a mason jar 

Enjoy with your favorite yogurt, milk or ice cream!
